Favorite Quote: "The soul would have no rainbow if the eyes had no tears." -- Native American Proverb
Favorite thing about working on Anvaya Feats Projects and Initiatives: The fact that Anvaya Feats provides opportunities and a chance to gain much-needed experience to progress in my chosen field and connect with other people and organizations through strategic partnerships
The Sustainable Development Goals that mean the most to me:
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. I find myself relating to and agreeing with this goal to a great degree because I often hear of people not being satisfied with their jobs and working on autopilot, and I would really like for everyone to get work they would enjoy doing.
Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. This is also really important to me because I come from a culture that places girls and women in very specified roles in society which limits their potential immensely. I believe men and women should be on equal footing regarding all matters because they shouldn't be treated less than for looking and sounding differently than men.
Reduce inequality within and among countries. This goal is also paramount because I have personally experienced inequality within my own country regarding my disability, whereas visiting the United States was the complete opposite and I was given respect and treated without pity or fear. I was lucky that I got to experience that, many people never never have and I want to see that changed.
