Accessibility Intern
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and detail-oriented individual to learn and contribute to our mission by improving the accessibility of our digital content. As an Accessibility Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience for people with disabilities by ensuring all visual content is accompanied by accurate and descriptive alt text.

- Review and analyze: Examine existing website content, social media posts, and children's book illustrations to identify images that lack or require improved alt text.
- Develop and implement: Create high-quality, concise, and informative alt text that accurately describes the visual content and its purpose.
- Adhere to accessibility guidelines: Ensure all alt text complies with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and other relevant accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with team members: Work closely with various team members to understand their content needs and ensure smooth integration of alt text.
- Stay informed: Research and stay updated on best practices for creating accessible digital content.
- Contribute to internal knowledge base: Document processes and best practices for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Strong willingness to understand accessibility principles and WCAG guidelines.
- Willingness to learn and/or develop excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for accessibility and inclusion.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
- Experience with image description tools is a plus.
Social Media & Content Intern
This is a unique opportunity for a creative and passionate individual to contribute to our mission by amplifying our social media presence and engaging with our target audience. As a Social Media and Content Intern, you will play a crucial role in curating our custom content and implementing it in engaging ways, across social media platforms, to help raise awareness about accessibility and inclusion, sharing inspiring stories, and promoting the work we do at Anvaya Feats.

- Develop and schedule engaging social media posts: Create original text, use our images, and our videos for platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Help manage social media accounts: Help monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Help conduct social media analytics: Work with Leadership to track key metrics, analyze campaign performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends: Research and identify emerging trends and best practices in social media marketing.
- Assist with content creation for other platforms: Contribute to the development of blog posts, newsletters, and other digital content.
- Collaborate with team members: Work closely with Leadership to align social media efforts with overall organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to develop a stronger understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences as it relates to Anvaya Feats mission and goals.
- Excellent written and communication skills, including a willingness to develop strong storytelling abilities.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) are a plus.
- Passion for social justice and a strong commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
