In a final move to keep her safe, Ling’s Master sacrificed himself to buy her and her new guardian, Chang, time to escape the massacre. Ling is now determined to become the greatest martial arts fighter in all of China to lead her people from the oppression and lies that keeps China in the grips of the Shadow.
