Intro: A’Isha is a member of the Maqil, one of Bedouin Tribes of the Sahara Desert. Although her father is a good and just man, the death of A’Isha’s mother, Suria, during labor causes him to distance himself from his daughter and as a result, A’Isha finds it difficult to let others in. But fierce devotion to her mother’s memory, her faith, and those she sees as family, generates a love that A’Isha didn’t think she was capable of. When she later learns that she is a Djinn she must come to terms with what she is before she can reach her full potential and protect her new family.
